Program Details:
This class will be a mini version of the actual First Lego League competition, using the exact competition set, missions, the same robotic set, and the same scoring rules. The students will be first trained as a group for the first 3-4 sessions in connecting robot design with solving real-world problems. During the training, the students will learn how to build a robot, using sensors and coding platforms to operate the robot, and how to incorporate feedback to improve and upgrade the robot to complete the missions. Once we get to know the students, depending on their level of familiarity with robotics and coding, we will divide them into teams for the next 3 sessions to further design the robot and solve the missions within their teams. The last class will be a mini competition for the teams to compete against each other to see who scores the highest points. Medals will be awarded to all participants, and the winner will receive a certificate issued by Jragon Robotics, our robotics academy. Depending on the available space and logistics, parents can be invited to spectate the mini competition of the last class.
